With numerous enhancements, the DJI Osmo Mobile 3 Combo Kit retains the majority of the functions from the Osmo Mobile model that was released earlier. Compared to its predecessor, it is now lighter, uses hand gesture control and body shape recognition, can be operated with the DJI Mimo app on iOS or Android, supports larger devices, and has Bluetooth 5.0 support. It also has a new Sport mode. The handle has been changed to make the handheld experience considerably more pleasant and accessible at a 15° angle, and all of the ports are now accessible when charging. It can also fold down for storage.
Any smartphone with a 3.5′′ wide screen can be mounted in its phone cradle to record fluid handheld video. The DJI Mimo mobile app and the Osmo Mobile 3 combination package work together to provide you access to a variety of shooting modes and features, such as Time-Lapse, Panorama, Underslung, Portrait, and now a Sport mode for quick action shots. Additionally, you can now record video, take a selfie, and monitor your movement with the gimbal using hand gestures without of touching any controls or pressing the record button. With ActiveTrack 3.0, it can now track human subjects’ body contours automatically, eliminating the requirement for manual selection.
With the accompanying USB Type-C connector, charging takes about 2.5 hours, and the battery lasts for about 15 hours on a full charge. To charge your phone or other gadgets while using the gimbal, there is a USB Type-A power output on the rear of the handle. To place the gimbal on a tripod or other accessory, a 1/4′′-20 mounting thread is located on the bottom of the gimbal handle. The gimbal also comes with a wrist strap and a storage pouch.
