Constructed from translucent white nylon fabric, the Collapsible Octagonal Softbox for LED Bulbs with Socket by Raya offers soft, diffused light for photo and video sessions. It is ideal for taking close-up portraits and product photos since it reduces hot spots, softens shadows, and produces a wraparound light. The embedded silver reflector panel gives a hint of secularity and increases light output. The shower cap front diffuser that comes with the softbox may be removed to create a variety of effects.
In addition to LEDs designed particularly for photography and videography, standard LED bulbs up to 45 watts with an Edison E27 socket can be utilized with the OSCB-70 softbox. Scene lighting may be done with this softbox while filming dialogue since LED lamps don’t require internal loud fans because they operate cool. LED blubs don’t produce heat, so you may put this softbox close to your subject to provide them with diffused light without having to worry about it warming. This softbox folds down to 23′′, making it ideal for travel, and opens like an umbrella for a fast setup that will have you shooting in minutes. For even and consistent light, the umbrella-style mechanism pops open and stretches the cloth. It shuts at the same time, so you have time to prepare and head to your next place.
Simply unscrew the LED lightbulb, insert the power wire, and open the softbox. That is all the preparation required. The light can be switched on or off from behind the camera thanks to the inline power switch, which allows for operation from a few feet away. A two-way 5/8′′ receiver on the integrated tilt bracket makes it compatible with the majority of light stands. The two-way receiver offers more mounting possibilities, such as utilizing a boom arm to light a product from above or angling the softbox near to a subject. The tilt bracket facilitates easy light aiming.
