With two lavalier mics and a single receiver, the Godox WMicS1 Kit 2 is a wireless system made for mobile journalists, filmmakers, and vloggers. It provides a comprehensive solution for streaming or recording dialogue, interviews, lectures, and speech with two persons speaking simultaneously—directly to a mirrorless/DSLR camera, camcorder, or mixer. It guarantees dependable transmission with good sound at a distance up to 328′. This plug-and-play technology is simple to use and ideal for mobile journalists, vloggers, TikTok celebrities, YouTubers, and Instagrammers.

Two bodypack transmitters with omnidirectional lavalier microphones are part of the WMicS1 Kit 2. Additionally, a receiver that clamps on and connects straight into your DSLR or mirrorless camera is included. Professional camcorders are intended to be used with the XLR output connection.

The system offers 96 frequencies to choose from to avoid wireless signal interference. The transmitters and the receiver operate on two AA batteries but can also be powered via USB. If your camera doesn’t have a headphone jack, you can monitor your sound via the receiver’s 3.5mm headphone output while recording to ensure that you are capturing a clean signal.

Two Microphones into One Receiver

• The two-channel receiver allows you to conserve space on your shooting setup by employing a single receiver to concurrently receive signals from the two mic/transmitters.
• Your camera records sound on both the left and right channels when you use a single microphone. When you use two mics, you may isolate each person’s voice and modify each volume independently in postproduction since each sound is captured separately, with one on the left channel of your camera and the other on the right.
• The receiver’s audio output may be adjusted by 30 levels for each of the two microphones separately.

• The transmitters have an easy-to-read OLED display that shows the battery life, muting level, and input level of the microphone.
• The maximum transmission distance of 40mW and the maximum battery life of 10mW may be achieved by switching the RF power.
• The omnidirectional pickup patterns of the lavalier microphones make it possible to maintain steady audio levels even when the subject moves away from the device.
