The BY-DM500’s broad frequency response (20–20,000 Hz) allows it to catch more subtleties in instrument and voice tones, providing customers with a well-balanced, rich sound.
A better, detachable foam windshield and an inbuilt pop filter reduce plosives, which is perfect for close-mike situations and elevates your vocal recordings. The whole metal body ensures sturdiness and the ability to withstand interference from signals.
The BY-DM500 is very simple to operate. With its adjustable mounting bracket and threaded hole at the bottom to attach the microphone to a boom arm or microphone stand (not included in the packing box), along with an XLR cable (not included in the packing box) to connect the microphone to an external unit, you’re good to go. It is a dynamic microphone, thus it doesn’t require 48V phantom power or batteries to function.
